Ingredients

1 pre-made pie crust

6 large eggs

1/2 cup milk

1 cup diced bell peppers (red and green)

1 cup diced ham

1/2 cup chopped green onions

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon paprika

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie pan, pressing it firmly against the sides and bottom. Prick the bottom with a fork to prevent bubbling. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes or until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and set aside.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until well combined. Stir in the salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.

In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the diced bell peppers and ham for about 3-5 minutes until the peppers are tender.

Add the sautéed vegetables and ham to the egg mixture along with the chopped green onions and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well until everything is evenly distributed.

Pour the egg mixture into the pre-baked pie crust and smooth the top.

Bake the quiche in the oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is slightly golden. You can insert a knife into the center; if it comes out clean, it’s done.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes before slicing into wedges.
