2 cups milk (dairy or non-dairy)

1 cup brewed strong coffee or espresso

3 tablespoons pumpkin puree (canned or fresh)

2 tablespoons sugar (or sweetener of your choice)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (plus extra for garnish)

Whipped cream (for topping)

Optional: a pinch of sea salt

Instructions
 

In a small saucepan, combine the milk and pumpkin puree over medium heat. Whisk together until well blended and heated through, making sure not to boil.

    Stir in the sugar, vanilla extract, pumpkin pie spice, and a pinch of sea salt (if using). Continue to whisk until all the ingredients are well combined and the mixture is frothy.

      In a large mug, pour in the brewed coffee or espresso.

        Slowly add the warm pumpkin-milk mixture into the mug, stirring gently to combine.

          Top your latte with a generous swirl of whipped cream. Dust with additional pumpkin pie spice for garnish.
