Ingredients

For the Cowboy Butter:

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tsp smoked paprika

1 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tbsp Dijon mustard

1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Chicken:

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

1 tbsp olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Pasta:

12 oz linguine

2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

Make the Cowboy Butter:

    - In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, parsley, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix well until fully combined. Set aside.

      Cook the Chicken:

        - In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Add the chicken to the skillet and sauté for about 6-8 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink. Remove from heat and set aside.

          Prepare the Linguine:

            - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the linguine.

              Combine Ingredients:

                - In the same skillet used for the chicken, add the Cowboy Butter mixture along with the halved cherry tomatoes. Stir for about 2 minutes until the tomatoes start to soften. Reduce the heat to medium-low.

                  Create the Sauce:

                    - Add the heavy cream and stir until well mixed. Gradually incorporate the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and creamy. If the sauce is too thick, add a bit of the reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency.

                      Bring It All Together:

                        - Add the cooked linguine and sautéed chicken to the skillet with the sauce. Toss gently until the pasta and chicken are well coated in the Cowboy Butter sauce. Allow to cook for an additional 2 minutes for the flavors to meld.

                          Serve:

                            - Plate the Ultimate Cowboy Butter Chicken Linguine, garnishing with fresh basil leaves and additional parsley if desired. Serve warm and enjoy the rich, buttery flavors!
