Ingredients

2 large sweet potatoes

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)

¼ teaspoon black pepper

¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)

Fresh herbs for garnish (like parsley or cilantro)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Wash and peel the sweet potatoes. Cut them into thin fries that are approximately 1/4 inch thick to ensure even baking.

In a large mixing bowl, toss the sweet potato fries with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper until they are evenly coated.

Spread the seasoned fries out in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they do not overlap for maximum crispiness.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping them halfway through for even cooking, until they are golden brown and crispy on the edges.

Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool for a couple of minutes. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce, such as a spicy mayo or tangy ketchup.
