½ cup granulated sugar

2 tbsp finely chopped fresh strawberries

1 tsp edible glitter or sparkling sugar (for extra sparkle)

Prepare the Sparkling Strawberry Sugar: In a small bowl, combine ½ cup granulated sugar with 2 tablespoons of finely chopped fresh strawberries and 1 teaspoon of edible glitter or sparkling sugar. Mix well and set aside. This will provide a delightful crunch and a pop of color to your cookies.
