Sticky Beef Noodles

400g beef sirloin, thinly sliced

200g egg noodles

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon ginger, minced

1 bell pepper, sliced (any color)

1 cup broccoli florets

3 green onions, chopped

1 tablespoon sesame seeds

For the Marinade/Sauce:

3 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons hoisin sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 teaspoon sugar

1 teaspoon cornstarch

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 teaspoon chili paste (optional, for heat)

Marinate the Beef: In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, cornstarch, rice vinegar, and chili paste. Add the sliced beef and mix until well coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

    Cook the Noodles: Boil the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, tossing with a little oil to prevent sticking.

      Stir-fry the Vegetables: In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and ginger and sauté for about 30 seconds, or until fragrant. Toss in the bell pepper and broccoli, stir-frying for about 3-4 minutes until slightly tender but still crisp.

        Add the Beef: Move the vegetables to the sides of the skillet and add the marinated beef to the center. Stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes, or until the beef is browned and cooked through.

          Combine and Toss: Add the cooked egg noodles to the skillet, tossing everything together well. Make sure the noodles are well coated with the sauce and mixed with the vegetables and beef. If it seems dry, you can add a splash of water or more soy sauce to achieve a desired consistency.
