Ingredients

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

1 can (14 oz) artichoke hearts, drained and chopped

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup sour cream

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt to taste

1 cup breadcrumbs

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Casserole Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked shredded chicken, thawed spinach, chopped artichoke hearts, and cream cheese. Mix until well combined.

Add the Creamy Ingredients: Stir in the sour cream, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic, onion powder, oregano, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes if using. Blend all the ingredients thoroughly until smooth.

Season the Mixture: Taste the mixture and add salt as needed, ensuring all flavors are well balanced.

Assemble the Casserole: Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with a little olive oil or cooking spray. Pour the mixture into the prepared dish, spreading it out evenly.

Prepare the Topping: In a small bowl, combine the breadcrumbs with 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Mix until the breadcrumbs are evenly coated. Distribute the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the top of the casserole.

Bake: Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is bubbly.

Garnish and Serve: Once cooked, remove the casserole from the oven and let it rest for about 5 minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

Enjoy: Serve warm alongside a fresh green salad or your favorite side dishes for a delicious meal!
