Ingredients

2 lbs chicken wings

1/2 cup Sriracha sauce

1/3 cup honey

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon salt

2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a medium bowl, whisk together the Sriracha sauce, honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt until well combined.

Marinate the Wings: Place the chicken wings in a large resealable plastic bag or a mixing bowl. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring that all wings are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to overnight for maximum flavor.

Preheat the Oven: When you’re ready to cook, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Baking Sheet: Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. This will help achieve crispy wings by allowing air circulation.

Arrange the Wings: Remove the wings from the marinade, shaking off any excess. Arrange them evenly on the wire rack, making sure they are not overcrowded.

Bake the Wings: Roast the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning them halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.

Baste for Extra Flavor: During the last 10 minutes of baking, you can brush some extra marinade (that has not come into contact with raw chicken) onto the wings for an additional flavor boost.

Garnish: Once done, remove the wings from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes. Then, garnish with chopped green onions and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.

Serve & Enjoy: Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce (blue cheese or ranch work well!), and enjoy the spicy, sweet, crunchy goodness!
