Ingredients

3 lbs baby back ribs

1 cup honey

1 cup BBQ sauce (choose your favorite)

1/2 cup apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

2 teaspoons garlic powder

2 teaspoons onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Ribs: Start by removing the membrane from the back of the ribs to ensure they tenderize properly during cooking. Pat the ribs dry with paper towels.

Mix the Sauce: In a medium bowl, combine the honey, BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper (if using). Stir well until all ingredients are thoroughly blended.

Season the Ribs: Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the ribs. If you have some leftover sauce, set it aside for later.

Place in Slow Cooker: Cut the ribs into sections to fit them into your slow cooker. Layer the rib sections standing on their sides, if necessary, to fit them all inside.

Cook: Pour the sauce mixture over the ribs, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for 6-8 hours or high heat for 3-4 hours until the meat is tender and falling off the bone.

Optional Broil: For a caramelized finish, preheat your oven broiler. Carefully remove the ribs from the slow cooker and place them on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Brush them with any reserved sauce and broil for about 3-5 minutes, watching closely until they are slightly charred.

Serve: Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired. Serve the ribs with extra BBQ sauce on the side and enjoy this delectable feast!
