Ingredients

4 cups frozen sweet corn (about 2 bags)

1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup milk

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 tablespoon granulated sugar (optional, for sweetness)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Optional garnish: chopped fresh chives or parsley

Instructions

Prep the Slow Cooker: Spray the inside of your slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray for easy cleanup.

Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the frozen corn, shredded cheddar cheese, cream cheese, milk, melted butter, sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly distributed.

Transfer to Slow Cooker: Pour the corn mixture into the prepared slow cooker, spreading it evenly.

Cook: Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or on high for 2 hours. Stir halfway through to ensure even cooking and melting of the cheeses.

Check Consistency: After cooking, check the corn. If it needs a little more creaminess, stir in an additional splash of milk and mix until combined.

Serve: Once done, transfer to a serving dish. Garnish with chopped chives or parsley if desired. Serve warm as a delicious side dish.
