Ingredients

1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped (or ½ teaspoon dried)

1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped (or ½ teaspoon dried)

½ teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil

Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Steak: Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels. This helps achieve a nice sear. Season generously with salt, pepper, and paprika.

Sear the Steak: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak bites in a single layer, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. Sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they develop a nice crust and are cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Garlic Butter: In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium. Add the butter, letting it melt. Once melted, add the minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes, until the garlic is fragrant and golden, but not burned.

Combine Steak and Sauce: Return the seared steak bites to the skillet, tossing them in the garlic butter sauce until they are well coated. Cook together for an additional minute to allow the flavors to meld.

Serve: Remove from heat. If desired, garnish with fresh chopped parsley. Serve immediately as a delightful appetizer or over rice, pasta, or a fresh salad.
