1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks), melted

2 cups granulated sugar

4 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons brewed coffee (cooled)

For the Salted Caramel Sauce:

1 cup granulated sugar

6 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into pieces

1/2 cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon sea salt

For Chocolate Drizzle (Optional):

1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 tablespoon coconut oil or butter

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8×8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.

    Prepare the Brownie Batter:

      - In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and sugar. Mix until well combined.

        - Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract and cooled brewed coffee.

          - In another bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.

            Bake the Brownies:

              - Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.

                - Make the Salted Caramel Sauce: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the sugar until it turns a golden brown, stirring occasionally to prevent burning.

                  - Once melted, add the butter and stir until completely dissolved. Carefully pour in the heavy cream (mixture may bubble up) and whisk until smooth. Remove from heat and mix in the sea salt.
