Ingredients

1 pound ground beef (or turkey for a lighter option)

1 medium onion, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

4 cups beef broth

1 (14.5-ounce) can diced tomatoes, drained

2 cups elbow macaroni (or pasta of choice)

1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or a blend, to love)

1/2 cup sour cream

Optional: 1/2 cup pickles, chopped (for garnish)

Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Brown the Meat: In a large pot or Dutch oven, over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Sauté the Onions and Garlic: Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the pot with the beef. Sauté until the onion is translucent and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.

Season the Mixture: Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional minute to let the spices bloom.

Add Liquid Ingredients: Pour in the beef broth and add the drained diced tomatoes. Stir to combine.

Incorporate Pasta: Bring the mixture to a boil, then add the elbow macaroni. Stir well and reduce the heat to a simmer. Cover the pot and let it cook for 10-12 minutes or until the pasta is al dente, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.

Add Cheese and Sour Cream: Once the pasta is cooked, remove the pot from heat. Stir in the shredded cheese and sour cream until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.

Serve: Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Garnish with chopped pickles and fresh parsley if desired. Enjoy your delicious One-Pot Cheeseburger Pasta fresh from the pot!
