24 Oreo cookies (plus extra for topping)

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

2 cups cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup heavy whipping cream

1 cup sour cream

1 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Crust:

    - In a food processor, crush the 24 Oreo cookies into fine crumbs.

      - In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed cookies with melted butter. Mix until the texture resembles wet sand.

        - Press the cookie mixture firmly into the bottom of an 8x8 inch square baking pan to form the crust. Use the back of a measuring cup to ensure it’s packed tightly and evenly.

          Make the Cheesecake Filling:

            - In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.

              - Gradually add in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.

                - In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until well blended and creamy.

                  Add the Sour Cream:
