Ingredients

1 bag of tortilla chips

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup diced cooked chicken (or beef)

1 cup black beans, rinsed and drained

1 cup diced tomatoes

1 cup corn (canned or frozen)

1 avocado, diced

½ cup sliced jalapeños (pickled or fresh)

1 cup sour cream

1 cup guacamole

½ cup fresh cilantro, chopped

1 tsp taco seasoning

1 lime, cut into wedges

Instructions

Prepare the Base: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread the tortilla chips evenly on a large baking sheet.

Layer It Up: Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese over the chips. Then add the diced cooked chicken (or beef), black beans, tomatoes, and corn evenly over the chips.

Add More Cheese: Top with the remaining cheddar cheese, ensuring everything is well covered.

Bake: Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Prepare Toppings: While the nachos are baking, prepare your toppings by chopping avocado, cilantro, and slicing jalapeños.

Assemble the Bar: Once the nachos are done, take them out of the oven and place them on the table. Let the kids add their own toppings: avocado, jalapeños, and a sprinkle of taco seasoning, if desired.

Serve with Dips: Provide bowls of sour cream and guacamole on the side, along with lime wedges for an extra zing.
