Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (80/20 mix for juiciness)

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

8 slider buns (mini brioche or classic)

4 slices of cheddar cheese (cut into quarters)

1/4 cup mayonnaise

2 tbsp ketchup

1 tbsp mustard

1/2 cup pickles (sliced)

1/2 cup lettuce (shredded)

1 medium tomato (sliced)

Optional: diced onions and crispy bacon for topping

Instructions

Preheat and Prepare: Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat.

Mix the Meat: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently until just combined; avoid overworking the meat.

Form the Patties: Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape them into small, flat patties. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to help them cook evenly.

Grill the Sliders: Place the patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side, then flip them over. Place a quarter slice of cheddar cheese on each patty immediately after flipping and let the cheese melt as they continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes until desired doneness is reached.

Toast the Buns: While the sliders are cooking, slice the slider buns in half and toast them lightly on a separate skillet or grill until golden brown.

Assemble the Sliders: Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each toasted slider bun. Add a cheeseburger patty, then layer with pickles, lettuce, and tomato. Top with ketchup and mustard to taste, and finish with the top half of the bun.

Serve: Arrange the assembled sliders on a platter and serve immediately while they're warm and cheesy. Optionally, sprinkle on diced onions and crispy bacon for extra flavor.
