Ingredients

1 pound fresh salmon fillet, skin removed

¼ cup pure maple syrup

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (optional for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Salmon: Cut the salmon fillet into bite-sized cubes, roughly 1-inch in size. Pat dry with paper towels.

Make the Marinade: In a medium bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, olive oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt until well combined.

Marinate the Salmon: Add the salmon cubes to the bowl and gently toss to coat them in the marinade. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more intense flavor).

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare for Baking: Remove the marinated salmon from the refrigerator and arrange the pieces on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each piece for even cooking.

Bake the Salmon: Bake the salmon bites in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until they are cooked through and slightly caramelized on top. They should reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

Garnish and Serve: Remove the salmon bites from the oven and let them cool slightly. Garnish with fresh dill, if desired, and serve with lemon wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor.

Enjoy Your Dish: These Maple Dijon Salmon Bites are perfect for an appetizer or can be served alongside a fresh salad for a delicious main course. Enjoy the sweet and savory flavors!
