Ingredients

2 pounds chicken wings

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped (for garnish)

Cooking spray or oil for baking

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place a wire rack on top for crisping the wings.

Prepare the Wings: Rinse and pat dry the chicken wings with paper towels to ensure they are as dry as possible. This helps in achieving crispiness during baking.

Season the Wings: In a large bowl, combine the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Toss the chicken wings in the spice mixture until they are evenly coated.

Bake the Wings: Lightly spray the wire rack with cooking spray or brush with a small amount of oil. Arrange the seasoned wings evenly on the rack. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning them halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.

Make the Garlic Parmesan Sauce: While the wings are baking, melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant (do not let it brown). Remove from heat and mix in the grated Parmesan cheese.

Coat the Wings: Once the wings are baked, transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the garlic Parmesan butter sauce over them and toss until all wings are well coated.

Garnish and Serve: Transfer the wings to a serving platter and sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces.
