Ingredients

8 ounces elbow macaroni

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 pound lobster meat (cooked, chopped)

2 cups whole milk

1 cup heavy cream

2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

2 tablespoons olive oil

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Cook the Macaroni: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Make the Garlic Butter: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant and golden, about 1-2 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.

Combine Lobster and Sauce: Add the chopped lobster meat to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through. Remove from heat and set aside.

Prepare the Cheese Sauce: In a separate saucepan, combine the milk and heavy cream. Heat over medium-low heat until just warmed. Gradually add the cheddar cheese, Gruyère cheese, and Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until melted and creamy.

Season the Sauce: Stir in the Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Adjust to taste.

Combine Macaroni and Sauce: In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained macaroni with the cheese sauce, then gently fold in the garlic butter lobster mixture until evenly distributed.

Prepare Topping: In a bowl, mix the panko breadcrumbs with olive oil and a pinch of salt.

Assemble the Dish: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the lobster mac and cheese mixture to a greased 3-quart baking dish. Evenly sprinkle the panko mixture over the top.

Bake: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the edges are bubbling.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
