Ingredients

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 teaspoon sesame oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water (slurry)

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1/4 cup green onions, sliced (for garnish)

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Marinate the Shrimp: In a medium bowl, combine the honey, sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Reserve a few tablespoons of the sauce for glazing later. Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat evenly. Allow marinating for at least 20-30 minutes in the refrigerator.

Cook the Shrimp: Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the shrimp from the marinade (discarding the marinade) and add them to the hot skillet in a single layer. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through.

Thicken the Sauce: Reduce the heat to medium and add the reserved honey glaze to the skillet, stirring it around the shrimp. Add the cornstarch slurry to help thicken the sauce. Continue cooking for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce clings to the shrimp.

Garnish and Serve: Once the sauce has thickened, remove from heat. Sprinkle with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving. Serve hot over steamed rice or paired with your favorite vegetables for a complete meal.
