4 whole English muffins, split in half

1 cup pizza sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

4 large eggs

1/2 cup cooked breakfast sausage, crumbled (or any protein of choice)

1/4 cup diced bell peppers (red, yellow, or green)

1/4 cup finely chopped red onion

1 tsp dried oregano

1 tsp garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)
