Ingredients

12 slider buns (mini brioche or soft whole wheat)

6 large eggs

1/2 cup milk

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup cooked and crumbled breakfast sausage (or diced cooked bacon)

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon butter

1/4 teaspoon paprika (optional)

Fresh chives or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and paprika until well combined.

In a non-stick skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the egg mixture and cook gently, stirring occasionally until the eggs are just set but still soft and creamy (about 4-5 minutes). Remove from heat.

Slice the slider buns in half to create a top and bottom for each slider. Place the bottom halves on a baking sheet.

Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the bottom halves of the buns.

Evenly distribute the cooked breakfast sausage over the cheese layer.

Spoon the scrambled eggs over the sausage, spreading it out to cover all buns.

Top with the remaining cheddar cheese, and place the top halves of the slider buns on.

Lightly brush the tops of the buns with melted butter and optionally sprinkle with paprika for additional flavor and color.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, until the sliders are warmed through and the cheese is melted.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a minute or two. Garnish with fresh chives or parsley if desired, then slice and serve while warm.
