Ingredients

1 pound frozen meatballs

2 cups uncooked penne pasta

3 cups marinara sauce

2 cups water

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large, deep baking dish, combine the frozen meatballs and uncooked penne pasta.

Pour in the marinara sauce and water, stirring well to ensure that the pasta is evenly coated with the sauce.

Sprinkle garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes (if using) over the mixture, stirring to incorporate.

Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes, carefully remove the foil and stir the casserole to ensure even cooking.

Sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses evenly over the top.

Return the dish to the oven, uncovered, and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Once done, remove from oven and let it cool for about 5 minutes.

Garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving.
