Ingredients
  

1 package (1 lb) refrigerated pizza dough

1 cup pizza sauce

1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup cooked and crumbled Italian sausage (or pepperoni slices)

½ cup diced bell peppers (red, green, or yellow)

¼ cup sliced black olives

1 tsp dried oregano

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tbsp olive oil

Cooking spray (for greasing the muffin tin)

Fresh basil leaves (for garnish, optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat and Prepare:

    Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Lightly grease a 12-cup muffin tin with cooking spray.

      Roll Out the Dough:

        On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick. Cut the dough into 12 equal squares (approximately 3x3 inches).

          Form the Cups:

            Gently press each square into the greased muffin tin, ensuring it covers the sides and bottom to form a mini cup. Let the edges hang slightly over the top.

              Layer the Ingredients:

                Spoon about 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce into each dough cup, followed by a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese. Add a layer of cooked sausage (or pepperoni), diced bell peppers, and olives. Top with another tablespoon of mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle a pinch of oregano and garlic powder on top of each.

                  Add Olive Oil:

                    Drizzle a small amount of olive oil over each pizza cupcake to help it crisp up while baking.

                      Bake:

                        Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.

                          Cool and Garnish:
