Ingredients

8 oz bowtie pasta

1 lb ground beef

1 medium onion, finely chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup beef broth

1 tsp Italian seasoning

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup frozen peas

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tbsp olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Brown the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add the chopped onion and garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

Add Ground Beef: Increase the heat to medium-high and add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula, approximately 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Make the Sauce: Lower the heat to medium. Stir in the heavy cream, beef broth, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese. Mix well and let simmer for about 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Combine: Add the frozen peas to the skillet, and cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Toss Pasta: Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the sauce, gently tossing until the pasta is well coated.

Serve: Divide the creamy beef and bowtie pasta among serving plates. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
