Ingredients
  

1 cup water

1 cinnamon stick (or 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon)

1 tablespoon honey (adjust for taste)

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 slice of fresh ginger (optional)

Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)

Lemon slices for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil over medium heat.

    Add the cinnamon stick (or ground cinnamon) and fresh ginger slice (if using) to the boiling water.

      Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.

        Remove the pan from heat and then strain the tea into a mug, discarding the cinnamon stick and ginger.

          Stir in the honey and fresh lemon juice until combined.

            For an extra kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper and stir well.

              Garnish with lemon slices if desired and enjoy your soothing tea while it's warm.
