1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup milk

2 large eggs

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon salt

For the Cinnamon Swirl Topping:

1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

For the Glaze:

1 cup powdered sugar

2 tablespoons milk

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking dish.

    Make the Cake Batter:

      - In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

        - Add the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix well until combined.

          - In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

            Prepare the Cinnamon Swirl:

              - In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and ground cinnamon. Pour the melted butter over this mixture and stir until crumbly.

                Assemble the Cake:

                  - Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.

                    - Sprinkle half of the cinnamon swirl mixture over the top of the batter.

                      - Pour the remaining cake batter on top, spreading it gently to cover the swirl. Finally, sprinkle the remaining cinnamon swirl mixture over the top of the batter.

                        Swirl the Mixture:

                          - Using a knife or a skewer, gently swirl through the batter and cinnamon mixture to create a marble effect. Don’t overdo it; a few strokes will create beautiful swirls.

                            Bake the Cake:

                              - Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

                                Prepare the Glaze:

                                  - While the cake is baking, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.

                                    Cool and Glaze:

                                      - Remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool for about 10 minutes in the pan. Then drizzle the glaze over the warm cake while it’s still in the pan.

Serve: Slice and serve warm or at room temperature. Enjoy the deliciousness of your Cinnamon Roll Cake!
