4 ears of fresh corn on the cob, husked

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Optional: squeeze of lime for serving

Instructions
 

Begin by preheating your grill to medium-high heat.

    In a small bowl, combine the melted butter with minced garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a garlic butter mixture.

      Husk the corn and remove all silk. Rinse them under cool water and pat dry with a paper towel.

        Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over each cob, making sure to coat all sides.

          Place the corn on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the corn is tender and has grill marks.

            Remove the corn from the grill and immediately sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the hot corn, allowing it to melt slightly.

              Garnish with chopped parsley and, if desired, a squeeze of lime for an extra zesty flavor.
