Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese

1 cup cooked rice (white or brown)

1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed

1 tablespoon taco seasoning

4 large flour tortillas

1 cup fresh salsa (store-bought or homemade)

1/2 cup sour cream

1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (for garnish)

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: sliced jalapeños for heat

Instructions

Cook the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Season the Beef: Add taco seasoning, salt, and pepper to the beef. Stir well to ensure the seasoning is evenly distributed. Cook for another 2 minutes.

Mix in Rice and Beans: Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the cooked rice and black beans. Mix thoroughly.

Assemble the Burritos: Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spoon about 1/4 of the beef mixture in the center. Top with a generous portion of both cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese.

Wrap the Burrito: Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll from the bottom up to create a tight wrap. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling.

Heat the Burritos: In the same skillet or a large pan, place the burritos seam-side down. Heat over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes per side, until the tortillas are golden and crispy and the cheese has melted.

Serve: Remove burritos from the skillet and slice in half if desired. Serve warm with fresh salsa and a dollop of sour cream on the side. Garnish with chopped cilantro and jalapeños if using.
