1/2 cup unsalted butter

1 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 large egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tbsp all-purpose flour

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9 inch baking pan with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper for easier removal.

    Make the Brownie Layer:

      - In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.

        - Stir in the sugar until well combined, then remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

          - Once cooled, mix in the eggs and vanilla extract.

            - Sift together the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder in a separate bowl.

              - Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

                Prepare the Cheesecake Layer:

                  - In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.

                    - Add the sugar and beat until fully combined.

                      - Mix in the egg, vanilla extract, and flour until the mixture is creamy and free of lumps.

                        Layering the Brownies:

                          - Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
