1 large flatbread or naan

1 cup fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced

1 medium ripe tomato, sliced

1/2 cup fresh basil leaves

2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

1 tablespoon balsamic glaze

Salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste

1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

Red pepper flakes, for garnish (optional)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up as well.

    Prepare Flatbread: Take the flatbread or naan and place it on a baking sheet or a pizza peel if using a stone. Lightly brush one side with 1 tablespoon of olive oil.

      Layer Cheese and Tomato: Begin by evenly distributing the slices of fresh mozzarella over the flatbread. Follow this by adding the tomato slices on top of the cheese.

        Season: Lightly sprinkle salt, black pepper, and garlic powder (if using) over the mozzarella and tomatoes to enhance the flavors.

          Bake: Transfer the flatbread to the preheated oven (or slide it onto the pizza stone). Bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges of the flatbread are golden brown.
