Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

1/2 cup teriyaki sauce (store-bought or homemade)

2 tablespoons honey

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger

1 tablespoon sesame oil

2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

Fresh lime wedges (for serving)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together the teriyaki sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil. This will be your glaze.

Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour half of the teriyaki glaze over them, making sure they are well-coated. Allow them to marinate for at least 15 minutes (or up to an hour in the fridge for deeper flavor).

Prepare for Baking: Line a baking tray with parchment paper or lightly grease it. Place the marinated salmon skin-side down on the tray. Reserve the remaining teriyaki glaze for later.

Bake the Salmon: Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is cooked through.

Glaze and Broil: In the last 2-3 minutes of baking, brush the salmon with the reserved teriyaki glaze. For an extra caramelized finish, turn on the broiler and broil for 2-3 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.

Garnish and Serve: Remove the salmon from the oven and sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve with lime wedges on the side for a zesty kick.
